BridgeWell Transformation Pathway

This pathway is built for nurse practitioners and NP students who are ready to practice differently. Not just learn differently. If you are a licensed NP, you will apply this starting with your very next patient. If you are an NP student, you will enter practice already knowing how to go beyond what NP school taught you.

If you are ready to get to the root of what is actually driving your patients' presentations and build real clinical depth across hormones, metabolic health, gut health, and brain health, you are in the right place.

What you are enrolling in

Your Credential: BCIM

All functional and integrative medicine certifications, including those offered by organizations such as the Institute for Functional Medicine and others in the field, are private professional credentials. None are recognized by state nursing boards or national credentialing bodies such as AANP or ANCC, nor do any expand the scope of professional licensure. The BridgeWell Certified Integrative Medicine Practitioner designation follows this same standard.

The BCIM is a private professional certification issued by BridgeWell Integrative Education. It is voluntary and does not grant any additional legal or specialty status or expand your existing licensure. You practice within your NP scope. That does not change.

What the BCIM does is something different entirely.

It tells your patients that you have completed clinical training in functional, lifestyle, and mindset medicine. It tells colleagues and employers that you have gone beyond conventional training to build genuine integrative clinical depth. It gives you a credential to display on your website, your practice profile, and your bio that signals a level of commitment and expertise most NPs do not have. And it gives you the professional foundation to build the hormone clinic, the integrative practice, or the focused specialty you have been working toward.

You practiced as an NP before BridgeWell. You practice as an NP after. The difference is what you know, what you can offer, and what you can call yourself.

NP students may enroll and earn the BCIM designation upon completion. The designation reflects completion of the clinical training. Full clinical application is expected within the scope of your licensure once obtained.
